GuestMark is an event invitation, RSVP, and communications platform operated by Brand Launch Solutions (Pty) Ltd, based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Our platform is accessed at guestmark.co.za.

When you receive an invitation or RSVP through GuestMark, we may collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your WhatsApp phone number (if invited via WhatsApp)
• Your RSVP response and any answers to event-specific questions
• Your dietary preferences or accessibility requirements, if requested by the event organiser
• Check-in time and attendance status

We use your personal information to:

• Send you event invitations, reminders, and correspondence on behalf of the event organiser
• Record and display your RSVP response to the organiser
• Facilitate event check-in
• Issue tickets or vouchers related to the event

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

If you were invited via WhatsApp, your messages are sent through the Meta Cloud API (WhatsApp Business Platform). Meta's privacy policy applies to the delivery of those messages. We store your WhatsApp number solely to send event-related communications. You may opt out at any time by contacting the event organiser or emailing info@guestmark.co.za.

Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase (supabase.com), with servers located in the European Union. We apply access controls to ensure only authorised event organisers can view your personal information.

We retain your personal data for as long as the event organiser maintains their GuestMark account, or until you request deletion. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@guestmark.co.za.

GuestMark uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — database and file storage
• Meta Cloud API — WhatsApp message delivery
• Everlytic — email delivery
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

Each provider maintains their own privacy and security standards.

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa)
